Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking about visiting? Here are answers to the things most first-time guests want to know before they walk through the doors.

Planning Your Visit

We'd love to have you join us on Sunday. Service times can shift with seasons and special events, so the most reliable place to check is the home page of our website. Because we meet in a home and shuttle guests over from Blackman High School, plan to arrive at the parking lot 15-20 minutes before the start of the service. That gives you plenty of time to catch the shuttle, settle in, and get your kids checked in without feeling rushed.
We're a church plant, which means we're young, growing, and full of energy. We currently gather in a home, so guests park in the southwest corner of the Blackman High School parking lot and ride our shuttle over from there. You don't need to contact us ahead of time or know the home address. Just show up at the parking lot and our team will take care of the rest. Look for a friendly face near the shuttle and we'll get you there.
Come as you are. Seriously. You'll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to button-downs. There's no dress code here. We care a lot more about you being present than about what's in your closet.
Our gatherings typically run about 75 minutes from start to finish. That usually includes a time of worship through music, a practical and Bible-centered message, and a few moments to connect.

What to Expect

Expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We sing together, we open the Bible together, and we aim to make the message clear and relevant to everyday life, whether you've been following Jesus for decades or you're checking out faith for the very first time. You won't be singled out, put on the spot, or asked to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
Nope. As our guest, please don't feel any pressure to give. While giving is a meaningful part of worship for our regular members, it's simply not something we expect from people who are visiting. You're our guest, so just enjoy your time with us.
Not at all. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, whether curious, skeptical, brand new, or returning after a long time away, you're welcome here. We work hard to explain things clearly without assuming you already know the lingo. Bring your questions.

Kids & Family

Yes! We have a safe, fun, age-appropriate environment for children where they'll learn about God in ways that make sense for them. Our check-in process is simple and secure, and our team is background-checked and trained. You can learn more on our Kids page.
When you arrive, head to the check-in area and a volunteer will help you register your child for the first time. You'll receive a name tag for your child and a matching claim tag for yourself, so only you can pick them up. The whole thing takes just a couple of minutes.
Of course. While many families love our kids programming, you're always welcome to keep your children with you in the service. Do whatever helps you feel most comfortable as you settle in.

Getting Connected

We're so glad you're thinking about it! The best next step is to explore our Next Steps and Ministries pages, where you can find groups, serving opportunities, and ways to connect with others. You're also always welcome to reach out through our contact page and we'll help you find your place.
Absolutely, and it would be our honor. You can submit a prayer request anytime through our Prayer page, and our team will be praying for you. If you'd like prayer in person, just let one of our team members know when you visit.
We'd love to hear from you. Head over to our contact page and send us a note and a real person will get back to you. No question is too small, and there's no such thing as a dumb one.

Still curious?
